A near-perfect Matt Murdock LEGO Marvel minifigure is finally possible thanks to a new Speed Champions minifigure head print.
The latest wave of LEGO Speed Champions sets includes 77260 The Fast and The Furious Toyota Supra MK4. This set has made waves following its release for bringing chrome silver back to the colour palette. However, there's now another reason to consider this set, especially for Marvel fans.
Before its release, official images for 77260 The Fast and The Furious Toyota Supra MK4 only showcased one print on the Brian O’Conner minifigure's head. Now that the set is on shelves and in fans' hands, it has been discovered that the new Brian O’Conner minifigure has a second face print.
The new face print is sporting stubble and sunglasses with red frames and a warm tint. It's not quite like any other sunglasses face print we've seen before, and is near-perfect for a long-awaited LEGO Marvel minifigure.
As Ashflash has demonstrated, the new Brian O’Conner face print is the missing piece you need to make a purist Matt Murdock minifigure, based on the Marvel Cinematic Universe take on the character.
The specific tint of the sunglasses and the presence of stubble match Matt Murdock nicely. Combine it with neat brown hair and a formal outfit, and you have Matt Murdock to pair with 76178 Daily Bugle's Daredevil minifigure.
Ashnflash's torso of choice is that of President Business from The LEGO Movie, with swapped hands. However, the torso from Alexander Pierce in 76269 Avengers Tower (also available individually on Pick a Brick) will work nicely, too.
You can find this new minifigure head in 77260 The Fast and The Furious Toyota Supra MK4 for £22.99 / $29.99 / €27.99, just in case the chrome silver rims weren't appealing enough.
